Our Story
A saree should arrive with a name.
Awadhalaya was founded by Shradha Suman Rai in 2020 — built by hand, and largely on her own, in a year when starting anything felt unreasonable.
What began as a conviction became a quiet discipline: source honestly, work directly with the weavers and artisans who make the cloth, and curate rather than stock — a considered few, never a random many.
