Usha — Rose Pink Saree with Silver Border

Usha is the old word for dawn — the pink the sky turns just before the sun comes up, with a thin line of silver along its edge. We named this one for the hour, not the flower.

A soft rose-pink linen with a fine, honest weave you can see up close — and a quiet silver-toned border running its whole length. The pallu carries a run of silver stripes and ends in tassels that alternate pink and ivory.

It falls in easy, unfussy folds and creases the way good linen does — that's the cloth, not a fault. This is a saree for a working morning, a daytime function, a long summer lunch. Worn with oxidised silver and very little else, it does all the talking on its own.
