Sandhya — Rose-Silver Tissue Saree | Awadhalaya

Sandhya is named for dusk — that last half-hour when the light turns rose and silver at once. The saree wears the same colour.

A tissue saree in a soft, mirror-like metallic: a mauve-rose base shot through with silver, so it shifts gently between the two as the light moves. A fine deep-red edge runs its length, and the pallu finishes in tassels.

• FABRIC & FEEL
  A crisp, high-shine tissue with a soft rose-silver sheen. It holds clean, structured folds and a bright surface that shifts as the light moves across it.
• COLOUR
  A rose-silver that never quite settles: mauve in shadow, bright silver where the light lands, warm rose where it turns. The deep-red edge grounds it.

  Receptions, festive evenings, and the weddings you're attending — and, just as easily, a dinner or an evening out. It dresses up or down without much effort.
• STYLING

  Dry clean recommended. Tissue is a delicate fabric — store it folded in a soft cloth, away from hooks and rough surfaces, and it keeps its shine for years.
• WHY WE CHOSE THIS PRODUCT
  Metallic saris usually shout for attention. Sandhya doesn't — the rose warming the silver gives it a softness most tissue lacks, which is exactly why we chose it. It's the rare metallic you could wear to a dinner as readily as a reception.
