Festive doesn't have to mean heavy. This one is a soft french-blue georgette, worked all over in white chikankari — jaali net-fill, little knotted flowers, the whole surface covered — with tiny silver mukaish flecked through it so it catches the light when you move.
It's a three-piece: a long flared kurta over a flared palazzo, with a sheer dupatta, every edge finished in fine crochet lace. Cool, quiet, and easy to carry through a long evening.
Work: Chikankari + mukaish, with crochet-lace edging
