  A featherlight, fine, faintly sheer weave with a soft natural crush. Hold a single layer to the light and the light answers back; drape it in pleats and it turns quietly opaque. It gathers into many small, soft folds rather than falling in stiff sweeps — cloth that moves when you move, settles when you stop, and weighs almost nothing across a long day. Matte, with no shine to manage.
• BORDER & DETAIL
  A slim charcoal-black border runs the full length of both edges — a fine dark line that traces every fold and every pleat, and gives all that green its discipline. No pattern, no ornament inside it: just the line.
• PALLU
  Plain emerald like the body, carrying the same black edge, ending in a row of small knotted black tassels — the only decoration on the entire saree, and the only one it needs. They hang straight, and they move as you do.
