Some sarees are worn. This one is carried.

Shreya is an off-white handloom mulmul cotton saree with a deep magenta border woven in gold zari and temple motif. The fabric is exceptionally soft, airy, and sheer in natural light — feather-light against the skin. The kind of saree that settles around you rather than sitting on you.

The magenta border is the story. Temple zigzag woven in gold zari, running the full length of the border and pallu. Against the off-white mulmul, it arrives quietly — and then you look twice.

  • FABRIC & FEEL
Pure handloom mulmul cotton. Feather-light and breathable — light passes through the weave. Soft against the skin. Comfortable for long wear in warm weather. Gets softer with every wash.
  • BORDER & PALLU
Deep red-crimson border with gold zari geometric temple motif. Thin magenta running stripes through the body. Magenta tassel fringe at pallu hem.
  • BEST WORN FOR
Festive occasions. Puja. Celebrations. Wedding guest. Any day that calls for something that feels like an occasion without trying to be one.
  • STYLING
Pairs with a deep red or maroon short-sleeve blouse. Oxidised silver jhumkas. Silver bangles. Hair in a low bun — with or without jasmine. The saree does the work.
  • CARE
Hand wash cold, separately. Colour may bleed initially — wash separately for the first few washes. Mild soap, no soaking. Dry in shade. No tumble dry. The mulmul softens beautifully with wear and washing.
    • WHY WE CHOSE THIS PRODUCT
Off-white mulmul with a red zari border is one of those combinations rooted in classic Indian handloom tradition — the kind of detail that belongs to something older, but fabric so lightweight and wearable it belongs just as easily to a Sunday morning as to a Puja evening. We chose Shreya because it doesn't feel like a costume. It feels like something you already own.
