The first thing you notice is the dot — a scatter of black buti across a clear, warm red, loose across the body and gathering closer as the pallu falls. It is a confident, graphic everyday saree in a soft cotton, finished with a fine black border and a row of black-and-red tassels.
Fabric & feel
A fine, matte cotton with a soft, light drape and an open weave you can see up close. It carries the red without any shine and sits easy through a long day.
The dots & border
Round black buti sit across the field, spaced a little denser toward the pallu. A thin black border runs down both edges, and a narrow black-and-cream stripe band closes the pallu just above the tassels.
Colour
A clean, warm red that reads rich in daylight and holds indoors — without tipping toward orange or brown.
Best worn
An everyday-into-evening red: with the black blouse and oxidised silver shown here, bare-foot at home; or dressed up with a bindi and a stack of bangles.
